Arc of silence I

Elian Baartman’s*Arc of Silence* (120 x 150 cm) revolves around space, stillness and a single, deliberate movement. Against a soft, open background, a subtle line appears, moving in an arc across the composition, whilst a dark touch anchors the whole.

The composition is restrained yet precise. Each element seems held in place, creating a tension between emptiness and presence. The light background catches the light, whilst the dark form and the line guide the eye without forcing it.

The artwork is best showcased in a minimalist, Japandi or modern interior. Ideal for a calm, larger wall where the space and simplicity of the work can speak for themselves. Combine it with soft fabrics, natural materials and subtle accents, such as cushions and a beautiful large pot with a plant, to enhance the tranquil atmosphere.
